Atlanta July 11 Governor Hardwick in a letter to W W Rainey pledges support to Clifford Walker and warns that if the Ku Klux Klan refuses to drop its masks the general assembly will be asked to criminalize wearing masks in Georgia. X Ray Taken Of Hip Of Robt Hodges After Fall
Robt Hodges, hurt in a fall in an Atlanta elevator shaft Saturday night, is resting well and should recover quickly, his mother Mrs A F Hodges reported on her return home Monday. An X ray of the hip aided the surgeons in treatment. The accident occurred in Hodges rooming house where residents reportedly operate the elevator. Hodges and Dan Chappell of Americus were present. the shaft was on Hodges floor level and the hall darkened as they emerged. Hodges fell 25 or 30 feet and was unconscious. Chappell barely avoided the fall.
