Six Men Hurt as Auto Plows Into Terra Cotta Workers
In Atlanta on Tuesday evening six terra cotta workers were struck as an unidentified driver rammed a car into a group at Vesta avenue near the East Point College Park line. Two men were seriously hurt. J B Jallison, badly injured, is unconscious with a possible skull fracture at Grady hospital. Others suff ered minor injuries. The driver fled, and East Point Chief Joseph W. Miller with county police searched for him.

Five Americans Rescued From Flint River Ferry Crash
Cordele Geor gia Jan 31 Vivian Hyman and Tom Hooks, two men on Burke's Ferry late at night, rescued Lee Allen and Allen Chappell of Americus after a motor boat struck the ferry cable and capsized. They clung to the capsized craft while onlookers in a rowboat saved them. The boat held Frank Sheffield A R Brown and W F Booth, all from Americus, who likewise escaped.
