R Sylvester Be Smith of St Louis writes Peruna is the best friend a sick man can have. Exposure and dampness ruined health and bronchial trouble persisted. The doctor advised Peruna, health improved rapidly and in three months was fully restored.
In Sumter County discussions a June state primary is favored to nominate delegates to the state convention and elect state officers. The plan envisions a single primary for county officers legislators and local roles with no extra legislative session. Governor Smith is expected to seek reelection as governor rather than a Senate bid.
Mr. Sam R. Sims sold his Church street residence at the corner of Hampton to Dr. W A Rembert. Rembert will occupy it as a home after repairs.
