High score by Mrs H T Bradley earned a neck-piece. a salad course concluded the games. Guests included Mrs Armstead Dodson and others at a tidy spend-the-day gathering. Additional local social notes mention varied visits and church affairs across Plains and nearby towns.

Coroner Jenkins visits Cobb a few days. Local figures of note travel to Seville Cordele and De Soto on various errands.
Smithville Ga January 20 Mesdames B I McKenney W Fort McAfee and J G Pruett were guests of Mrs James Salter in Leesburg for a spend the day party. Miss Elma Evans returned from Oakfield Monday and is ill at her mother Mrs Mary Evans home. E B Martin of Leesburg a business visitor here Tuesday. Mrs J C Barker and children of Plains visited her mother Mrs R P Johnson last week. Harrison Boulineau of Macon spent Sunday with his parents Mr and Mrs William Boulineau. Lee Edwards and attractive daughters Eva and Mamie of Lineville Ala spent the week with his daughter Mrs J feLain. Miss Blanche Pryor returned home after a pleasant visit to Mrs E M McAfee. Mrs Milton Booker and Miss Edna Booker spent Tuesday in Americus. Miss Ethel Markette was a pleasant Sunday visitor.
Prof Hawkins of Tennessee began teaching at Thompson school with good attendance. Mr and Mrs O P Jones and Mary Ella visited Mrs Tom Knight in Dawson. Mrs G W Wiggins returned home from a visit to Mrs J W Suggs of Seale. Mr and Mrs R S Williams Miss Mollie Williams and Prof L Z Turpin of Smithville spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs T J Suggs. Several young people visited Miss Iynette Collins. T G Godby and Howell Turner of Americus visited homefolks. C D Brinkley went to Americus Saturday. W A Jones visited Mrs B S Williams Sunday. J K Sims was in the city Sunday. H W Wiggins and B McCrea visited friends in Huntington. R P Israel made a business call at Bottsford Sunday afternoon. Misses Stella Turner and Bessie Salter returned from Bronwood where they were guests of the Misses Cowetal Ruse. New York Press opens ceates money braries them right back for more.
