Ford Family Suspected in East Americus Theft
Mrs Hugh Hawkins reported a trunk theft of 25 dollars in East Americus after she left for church. Ex policeman W D Smith traced the theft to Minnie Wes Ford, daughter of Clifford Ford, who produced 16 dollars and promised returning the rest. A vigilance committee formed, the Ford family warned, and Clifford plans to move with a house in East Americus for sale. Mr Smith received citizen thanks.
