Battle of the Giants Opens With Speeches This Week

Georgia Train Carloads Aid Nebraska Sufferers

A Georgia train of a dozen cars loaded with carp meat flour and other foods will depart Atlanta for Lincoln Nebraska to distribute contributions. Americus and Sumter county supplied a carload of corn and meat and the rest were sent to Atlanta. The North Nebraska drought and cold wave left many destitute with deaths from cold and hunger. Local church leaders are scheduled for services today and tomorrow with moderate attendance expected.
