The board of directors met at The Windsor with most of the board present and Cecil Gabbet in charge as general manager. They discussed the Savannah Americus and Montgomery railroad, its receivership, and the potential for a cotton factory in Americus. Reorganization will take time but the property's value remains.

Georgia Soldiers Home Sold Under Auction Plan

Atlanta reports the board of trustees voted to sell the Georgia Soldiers' Home to fund aid for aged and needy veterans.
