Conductor Arrested Over Smallpox Passenger Incident

Conductor McCrary of the Helena Wynne Iron Mountain route was arrested for bringing two smallpox infected persons into Revesa Arkansas. A wire from Mariena warned authorities to notify the city. the train coach carrying the infected pair was isolated under guard. McCrary posted bond for court next Monday.
