In Yorkville Ohio on February 24 Harry Price cashier of Peoples Bank at Mount Pleasant was shot and killed by two robbers who fled toward Steubenville in an automobile. A sheriff posse armed with machine guns pursued the bandits and a bank employee wounded one robber. no funds appeared to be taken.

Mildred Webb aged 12, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Webb, died at 11 this morning at the family residence in Sumter City after a brief illness.
