Citizens of Americus propose sending a delegation to Thomasville to invite northern visitors at season's end. They aim to showcase Americus as a premier winter resort with Windsor hotel at 150000 cost, Allen House capacity, and carriage tours, hoping to attract 100 or more visitors who would likely return next season. Aimed at rail rate concessions and festive entertainments to persuade tourism from the south.
