Boy Shot Himself While Hunting in Belville

Belville Texas February 13 Bob Meyers oldest son of Constable Meyers accidentally discharged a birdshot load into his stomach while hunting. The fatal wound occurred when he drew the gun muzzle foremost from a road cart.

Big Excursion Brings 700 Northerners to Pine City Georgia

Judge Fish Denies Removal of 8S. A. & M. Road Case

The Sumter Superior Court rejected Equitable National Bank of Baltimore’s petition to remove the Savannah Americus and Montgomery Railroad case to the federal circuit court. The court ruled the bank was not a party to the suit and could not remove, stating removal and bond approval are denied.
