Brunswick. February 11. Attorney General Napier issued an opinion allowing first time voters in Glynn county to register for the Democratic primary without paying past poll tax. Women who registered in 1922 or 1923 may vote in the March 19 primary if their 1922 tax is paid or due by February 18. New registrants register at the courthouse and vote without past taxes. taxes not due until December 20. Those turning 21 by general election November 4 may also vote in the primary without poll tax.
