Two Receivers Appointed For Atlanta and Florida Railroad

Atlanta February 9 Two receivers have been appointed for the Atlanta and Florida railroad. Judge Speer of Macon named R F Plant as receiver in Macon superior court after a bill by East Tennessee Virginia and Georgia railway and others. Judge Marshall J Clarke appointed T W Garrett as receiver in Atlanta superior court on a creditors’ filing three weeks earlier. A likely conflict between federal and state courts over the road’s receivership may recur.
