Edward Stinson and Lloyd Bertaud set a world record for continuous flight in an all metal monoplane at Mineola New York. They began at 8 58 yesterday morning and remained aloft until 9 20 this morning surpassing the 24 hour 19 minute 7 second French mark. Stinson landed after 11 15 am with 26 hours 19 minutes 35 seconds aloft due to a faulty oil connection. Both endured oil exposure and bitter cold with enough fuel to reach sundown.

First Christian Congregation Moves to New Quarters

George O. Marshall, Sumter county agent, reports a carload of government picric acid shipped from Sparta Wisconsin will arrive soon. Priced at 7 cents a pound plus freight, 10.4 cents gross, three cars are routed to Americus Macon and a third to be completed for South Georgia.
