A telegraph excerpt explains Col. Guerry declined to prosecute or defend in the Hinkle case due to personal ties. Also noted: Capt. I. C. Dagley returns to Atlanta to become cashier at Maddox Tucker Hawking Co. and Mrs Dagley will join him Feb. Public installation of Blue Lodge and Chapter officers set for Dec 27 at the opera house with Rev. A M Williams speaker. Farmer J. H. Wiggins reports 6,000 pounds meat from hogs, markets surplus locally. News of Dr. Williamson’s death in Schley county and a border campaign against bandits closes the item.
