The body of air mail pilot Charles Gilbert was found near his wrecked plane half a mile from Aurora Illinois after disappearing for 13 hours in a severe Kaneville snowstorm. He had taken off from Maywood near Chicago to locate the missing craft carrying mail, and his parachute failed during the descent. Eight Dead In Chippewa River Crash In Wisconsin
The Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste Marie observation car plunged into the Chippewa River Saturday near Chippewa Falls. Eight bodies confirmed with seven injured. Among gravely hurt were M. I.
