New greens and tees open at club course
C E Byles has built a new green for No 1 and a new tee for Nos 2 and 4, extending the course by about 400 yards. All permanent greens will be opened Christmas afternoon except No 8, with temporary greens used for winter grass growth. B B Glover yardmaster for the Central of Georgia railroad was seriously hurt when a frightened cow ran across the tracks and knocked him from a moving switch engine in the Central yards near the American Agricultural Chemical plant.
