Atlanta Wild West Robbery Ends in Fatality at Kaiser Store
Atlanta officials offered a $1000 reward for the bandit who robbed the Nat Kaiser jewelry shop on Peachtree Street, killing detective Irby Walker and wounding B Graham West. One suspect is in custody. The bandit sought a $2500 ring, shot Walker, and escaped into the crowd toward the Kimball House. West remained conscious, listed with a fair prognosis.
