Receiver Appointed for Savannah Americus and Montgomery Railroad

The Savannah Americus and Montgomery railroad was placed under temporary receivership by Judge Fish after noon on Wednesday. Farm youth McTyler fled after seduction conviction

Rumor swirls that Will McTyler a young Sumter County farmer left town without notice after being sentenced to six years in the penitentiary for seduction. Gober to face inquiry over trial motion tampering claim

The Blue Judge circuit judge Gober stands accused by Glenn and Maddox law firm of altering a motion for a new trial after granting it.
