Two men died and two were injured when a Blue Ridge passenger train struck an automobile at Shirley's crossing three miles east of Anderson South Carolina. Victims were Fred Cox 19 white and James Delpoo 21 Negro. Injured were taken to a local hospital. The second report from Mount Holly New Jersey notes four killed when a car was struck by an express train at New Lisbon a Pennsylvania Railroad line.
