The display will feature numerous designs not seen elsewhere and emphasize value with a large in-store stock.
The city celebrated the opening of the road to its western terminus with a large excursion to Montgomery led by Col. Kins Capt Bagley and Vice President Hawkins. The banquet at the Exchange hotel followed a long day of travel with a lively program, telegraphed congratulations from President Hawkins, and humor about the reception in Montgomery.
