Louisville Mayor Todd withdraws from U S Senate race

April 21 report from Franxront Ky notes Mayor George D. Todd of Louisville withdrew after discussions with Hunter supporters, opening the Republican nomination race to Col. Queen Namae Captured and Exiled by French Forces

Montogmery Captain Dies After Car Ride Fight

Train Derailed Killing Conductor and Injuring Flagman

A northbound F C P railroad extra derailed near Casey, eight miles south of Columbia, killing conductor T Smiley and severing flagman J G Wiley. Smiley died instantly. Wiley suffered both legs lost and was taken to Columbia for treatment.

Captain Romeyn On Trial At Fort McPherson Court Martial

At Fort McPherson a public US court martial heard charges against Captain Osptein Henry Romeyn. Three witnesses testified including Lieutenant O’Brien whose atheism was debated. Testimony included statements about Romeyn’s conduct and remarks regarding Mrs. Onee and the Atlanta Street Railway man.
