The forty fourth annual Georgia Medical Association session adjourned after three days in Americus with 150 visiting physicians bidding farewell. President Smith opened the meeting and Dr. Ridley of LaGrange delivered the oration on Woman's Relations to Medicine. Officers for the next year were elected. next annual meeting planned for Atlanta.

Arrest in Glover counterfeiting case linked to Carroll
In Macon on April 21 M O Carroll a Gibson agent was brought in on a statement by the counterfeiter Dr Glover that Carroll furnished free transport to Rue Guafa for the counterfeit scheme sharing proceeds. Carroll admitted giving a ticket but said it was while working as a jeweler. He posted 300 bond. his brother posted the amount and released him. Additional testimony described Carroll as well connected and holding a deputy office, with Dr Disunwea also in jail on bond. In New York Rawlin Booth’s condition was reported as serious but not alarming with partial aphasia and facial weakness. The Cotton Commission plans a testy tour to New York New Orleans and New England centers with testimony collected via circulars, employing expert A K Shepperson. George Gentry of Carrollton found guilty of horse stealing after a two day trial with alibi attempts failing. Secretary Hoke Stithman recovered from an illness and returned to Atlanta.
