Rule on quorum counting passed by House in April session

Mr Catchings reported a rule to count a quorum before journal read and Mr Murrows offered a minority substitute. After debate and division vote 122 to 98, the roll call followed. Speaker Crisp announced passage of the quorum counting rule with yeas 212 and nays 47, appointing two tellers to certify present members.

Vance Lays In State in Memorial Day Asheville Funeral
