Ballot battle decides Sumter primary results state wide

In Sumter County the county primary ended after long counts with 965 votes in the courthouse box. The results show Sheppard and Griffin winning legislature seats, Feagin sheriff, Cobb ordinary, Small tax collector, Speer tax receiver, Childers solicitor, and Edgar Jenkins coroner, with five of ten county commissioner seats filled. County precincts completed tallies by 7 pm. refunds of about 52 percent of campaign expenses are issued to candidates from the executive committee.

Webster Go Grand Jury Presentments

Webster County grand jury presents a year of farm yields and county finances.
