B Hollingsworth an attorney at law offers services in all Georgia courts and focuses on commercial collections. He represents leading fire insurance companies and provides social attention to collection matters and related legal services.
Dr W Wallis specializes in diseases of the ear nose and throat and also cares for women and children. Residence is in Burks' new building just south of the school and near the public square.
A local notice advertises low priced job work including letterheads billheads envelopes circulars and related items. It invites readers to leave orders at The News office and promises prices as low as the lowest.

An old classified style notice touts Tansy Pennyroyal and Cotton Root Pills as reviving suppressions and irregularities with a price of $L per box. The address for particulars lists Frank Edmondson in Atlanta.
An 1890s style ad promises two free colored pictures set in gold frames in exchange for ten cents and stamped postage for UP TO DATE magazine. It then touts Browns Iron Bitters as a universal health remedy for men women and children, claiming broad benefits and wide dealer availability.
In this 1898 Georgia agriculture bulletin, Commissioner Nessmith warns farmers against heavy cotton planting despite rising prices. He advocates diversification, smaller held areas, and humus building through leguminous crops, stable manures, and careful soil management to improve yields and sustain farms.
Newcomer asks about soil, planting, and fertilization for watermelons. Reply notes that rich soil is not required, limas are harmful, top soil must drain well and sit above clay subsoil. Warm light grey soils in Georgia’s wire grass region suit melons, with land preferably dry but not too dry and exposure facing south.
