In Dawson Georgia on April 6 the Terrell County congressional primary produced a strong win for C B Stevens over Judge J H Guerry by 307 votes. Stevens carried nearly all precincts except the new eleventh which favored Guerry by five. The county alliance backed Stevens with substantial support from professionals and business leaders.
