A San Francisco area plane crash near Kelly Field today killed Cadet Parker Buck of Cincinnati and another crew member. Official reports say both were instantly killed and bodies badly burned. A separate Paris dispatch notes a French biplane reached 23,300 feet with a crew of five aboard.
Secretary Glass summons cabinet members and procurement chiefs to the Treasury to decide if the industrial board price adjustment plan should be followed or abandoned amid a dispute over the railroad administration’s refusal to accept prices for steel and coal products.
Lieut Walter Armstrong in charge of civilian labor at Boulber Field says no more laborers will be employed at present at the Aviation General Supply Depot or the flying field. Sufficient labor exists at both stations and further calls will be made when the need arises.
