$17 000 Award in Rowe Case
Judgment for 17000 awarded to Gertrude Rowe widow and her children in Amarillo in 108th District Court against the railroad. For the accident February 17 1932 to March 8 1932, the estate gets 2000 and Mrs Rowe plus two children receive 5000 each. The verdict finds Denver flagman J S Williamson negligent for not warning Willis Hill, but Rowe and Hill not found negligent. Watchman employed by railroad.

O R Jack Allen, longtime Amarillo manager, is named general manager of sales for Dempster Mill Manufacturing Company with Beatrice Nebraska offices. He leaves Amarillo June 24 to assume duties.
