Moore County voters approve dry in local option
In local option elections Moore County went dry by 247 votes while Hutchinson County stayed wet by 453. Moore’s result marks the first dry vote since 1933 nationwide repeal. Rev. Jeff Moore of the Hutchinson Civic Loyalty League said plans for a new option fight next year.
