Two Passenger Trains Collide Near Dickerson Maryland
A rear-end collision between two Baltimore and Ohio passenger trains near Dickerson Maryland killed and injured several riders. A sleeping car was hurled into a fast freight on an adjacent track and fires raged for hours after the 6 30 a m crash. The Cleveland night express to Washington derailed and was struck by the opposing freight as the Ambassador Express between Detroit and Washington collided after the wreck.
