William Hubbell president of the Diamond T Truck Company in Amarillo became the first delegate at the Los Angeles American Legion convention to have his wallet pickpocketed. Assistant Managing Editor of Dallas News Succumbs

Joseph F Willetts aged 51, longtime assistant managing editor of the Dallas Morning News, died at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas. He joined the News in 1923 after working at the Lawton News and had previously been with the Hartford Courant, the New York Times, the Denver Rocky Mountain News and the Denver Post. His career included stints in New Mexico and New Orleans.
