His fingertips were bandaged several times and wrists and forearms swelled from the effort.
Roxanna Petroleum bought eighty acres in Carson county for 80000 cash on the Brown Jordan ranch. The land lies in the north half of the southeast quarter of Section 108, Block 4. The deal marks the highest price per acre in the county and signals a new field opening between and east of the Bryan No 1 discovery well.

Authorities express hope for Rosenthal’s release as the bandits’ mountain lair is said found in Morelos. A Yaqui uprising near Sonora disrupts a train carrying General Obregon with some casualties reported.
Romania announces Queen Marie will sail on the Leviathan to New York on October 12 with her daughter Princess Meena her son Prince Nicholas and the entourage of seventeen persons. A letter of welcome will accompany the voyage.
