Aged man attacks mayor with acid in Bowling Green

D S Hill a 70 year old of Mileton Center threw acid into Mayor Walter Longbrace and slashed his own throat as police tried to arrest him. Hill had been convicted last May for liquor law violations and had missed a fine payment leading to the arrest attempt. The mayor suffered severe facial burns and eye injuries with likely permanent scarring and possible loss of sight.
