Galveston Gamblers Face Light Charges
Twelve dealers arrested in the Ranger raid on the Balinese Room face misdemeanor charges with potential fines up to $100 each and about $114 in court costs per defendant. Sunday School Boys Admit Smashing Liquor Stores
Three 15 year old Fort Worth boys on parole after officers linked them to several liquor store window smashings. The youths said as Sunday School classmates they discussed liquor and decided to carry their own campaign. They conducted four rock throwing raids, shattering three plate glass windows. a shotgun fired from the store operator damaged their car, which officers later traced.
