A public meeting to discuss Civilian Production Administration and National Housing Agency rulings on veterans housing is set for 7:30 PM tomorrow at the Capitol Hotel. Ed Timmons, chairman of the Mayor's Emergency Housing Committee, announced the event with William G. Williams, regional expediter for the NHA, expected to attend.
Principal speaker Mr Timmons says the gathering will cover a surge of changes in the veterans housing program over recent weeks. The agenda includes insights for loan and lumber companies real estate dealers builders and veterans organizations and a CPA directive affecting HH priorities for projects. Under prior rules firms held priority materials for a set period before disposing at will. the new directive alters this handling.
