Six Texans Die in Sunday Pleasure Jaunts Across State
A string of accidents on Sunday costs at least six Texans their lives. In Austin F J Bryant 24 his wife 22 and their baby James 3 drowned when their motorboat capsized on the Colorado River. The Bryants were aided by Frank Gullette and Bob Campbell. In Denison a long-time businessman Harry H Farum died and his wife was injured when their car went over an embankment. Near Clodine two youths perished as a car plunged down a hill after a dance. Houston residents Irvin Rollins 21 and Annie B Cox 16 were killed when their car wreck trapped them. Monroe Scape 22 and Miss Jackie Romia 19 were injured along with Mrs Juanita Singletery 17 while W F Bryant 20 sustained minor injuries. A heavy fog darkened the road and further injuries occurred across the state including near Nacogdoches.

W A E Liners Resume Trips After Weather Delay
Western Air Express resumed regular schedules after a week of rain and fog that trapped four planes between Waynokia and Albuquerque New Mexico. A relief ship, sent to assist the disabled liner near Tucumeari New Mexico, arrived at Municipal Airport at 9 45 this morning. The rescue plane had to turn back to Amarillo due to fog after starting from Albuquerque yesterday. All passengers except Dr W A Walton of Pottsville Pennsylvania had reached Tucumcari by train.
