Dallas authorities deny an $80 262 claim by Mrs. John Lowrey widow of a former county tax collector. She argued the sum was turned to the county as delinquent tax collection fees of office. The state attorney general backed part as valid, but the commissioners court rejected the claim. The supreme court previously ruled money can be unaccountable and belonging to the collector.
