Oakley Relic Is Saved by Friends
MINSTER Ohio U P a tiny log cabin once home to Annie Oakley faced demolition as a state highway widened. After years with the Daxbey family the cabin was bought by the state but no group would fund moving costs. Niece Annie Fern Swartout paid 75 dollars to relocate it near her home and a plaque donated by Barbara Stanwyck will mark the site once the highway project proceeds.
