Mayor Delayed In Conference On Overpass
Mayor Joe Jenkins seeks a meeting with John D. Farrington of the Rock Island Railroad to discuss a proposed overpass at West Eighth and the railroad between Bonham and Fannin. The plan, revived last Friday, envisions a 70 foot wide through street over the tracks with railroad cost sharing and a preliminary estimate of 70000 dollars amid material shortages.
