In Los Angeles on September 5, C. W. Baquet, 71, a former Houston rancher and Oakland contractor, checked into a hotel and was joyfully identified by a bellboy as his son C. W. Baquet Jr. The son had been separated from his father in Texas twenty six years ago and had undergone a nationwide search.
