Mrs William Boyce and Mrs Elizabeth Boyce hosted a breakfast at 1110 Tyler street to honor Mrs L H Puckett nee Lela Wolfin with garden flowers and china. A bridge party and pantry shower followed at 1104 Broadmoor with 17 guests. Lunch and linen shower were at 2116 Van Buren street with pink and orchid decor and a miniature bride and groom centerpiece. The event lineup included Mrs C C Wolfin, Mrs Tom Currie, Mrs Merle Patton and others. A birthday fete for Mr Morris noted his Eastern Star leadership and a program featured songs readings and solos for over 150 members.
