Old Tack on humor, weight, and life lessons
The writer reflects on looks versus humor, noting slim people are often funnier than fat ones. He cites Will Rogers Eddie Cantor Groucho Marx and Chic Sale as top humorists. He recalls a hard life roving from 14 and learning “human nature” beyond books, and urges balance of schooling with street wisdom. He laments unemployment, urges support for workers families, and ends with a proverb about confidence and perception.
