A Texas Public Service Information Bureau study shows how a large city uses hot water. Findings include kitchens using less water in Chinese restaurants, hotel baths more frequent for guests, regular lunch washups, higher rents linked to greater use, and optimal water temperature around 145 to 150 degrees. Tarrant County to Have Great Exhibition of Jerseys at Fair
The 1923 Amarillo Tri-State fair will feature Jersey cattle with over 100 head on display from Tarrant county, plus Holsteins. A show herd from Mistletoe Farms and other farms will be exhibited and a sale of pure bred dairy cattle set for September 24. The Pure Bred Live Stock association plans ongoing annual sales if funds allow.

Opening of East Tenth Assured by Recent Work
With about 500 feet of brick laid last Saturday the opening of East Tenth street near Amarillo’s exposition grounds is nearly assured by fair time. The paving links the county highway with East Tenth and with Grant Fillmore Taylor Polk and Tyler streets creating paved routes through the business district and boosting East Side property values.
