A Chicago area pet cemetery near Hinsdale holds 1,449 graves on 2.5 acres with granite headstones and photos. Pets including dogs cats horses parrots and others receive lavish burials with prices from 20 to 1000 dollars. The owner John P. Stankowicz bought the cemetery after a dramatic escape from Russia and riot history, opening it in 1926 after the original owner died in a 1930 auto accident.
