The truck driver Perry Eason said brakes were applied after the truck surged forward. None of the injured were in critical condition.

Bank Robbery Ring Revealed in Texarkana Report
Texarkana Arkansas October 29. A band of bank robbers tied to the Lewisville Arkansas First National Bank holdup and four other robberies is sought by officers from three states. Two men took about 5000 from Mrs. Dave Patton assistant cashier and locked her in the vault before fleeing toward Shreveport. An abandoned coupe was found six miles from the bank with three men seen emerging into another car. Officers suspect an accomplice waited in the woods with a second car. Fourth Blaze Victim Dies In Hospital
Independence, Missouri mummy Edith Fern Wright, 11, died in a hospital today becoming the fourth child fatally burned in a kerosene stove fire incident. Twin Ella Jane Wright, eportedly burned severely, described how kerosene was poured into the stove at Edith’s request. Tommy Brown, in a rush to discard the burning kerosene, threw the can into a lamp, worsening the blaze.

Unconscious Soldier Found At Odd Fellows Hall
Leo J. Durand a discharged soldier was found unconscious on a stairway at Odd Fellows Hall 306 East Fifth Avenue. He regained consciousness by Thursday afternoon and was in a hospital bed. F E Walker the hall secretary found Durand whose dog watched over him. Durand was discharged June 2 1930 at Fort Ethan Allen Vermont after serving in battery B Seventh Field Artillery.
