Reconversion Starts Here in Amarillo Manufacturing
Otto Shaw, WPB priority specialist, announced a new program as he conferred with manufacturers. The Graham Hoeme Manufacturing Company in Amarillo received authorization to produce a civilian chisel plow, the first among 40 regional firms. Allowed items include weatherstrip, edging, springs, signs, lockers, blinds, and about 100 types of products, with conditions focusing on manpower without hindering war production.
