Former Lt Colonel Mori pleads innocent to wartime killings in Philippines
In Yokohama on October 23, former Lt. Col. Shigeji Mori the ex commandant of Cabantuan prison camp in the Philippines pleaded not guilty before an Eighth Army commission to charges of ordering the execution of 13 American captives in 1942. Among the Americans executed were Wesley E. Jordan of Arlington Texas and Frederick L. Lee of Big Spring Texas.
