United Press reports Chicago October 13 President Ban Johnson of the American League says he will resign the office after a directors meeting next Monday. Johnson has clashed with baseball leaders and denounced Commissioner Landis following the Speaker Cobb scandal. He plans no definite future plans beyond a possible trip to Honolulu.
