Seven Indictment Report Erred in Amarillo Grand Jury
The Amarillo Daily News carried an erroneous report that seven men were indicted for bribery by the Potter County Grand Jury. A three state air search began today for a four passenger private plane missing since yesterday afternoon on a flight from Amarillo to Phoenix. Pilot Jack Woolsey of Oklahoma City led the missing craft noted as cream and green, NC 11762. CAP squadrons from Albuquerque and Tucumcari aided the Air Force in the hunt. Only identified passenger is Newt Burns of Oklahoma City, former Oklahoma County sheriff.
